Hazara Express horrific train accident in which many people were injured and many passengers were killed. Many coaches of Hazara Express derailed near Nawab Shah Srihari railway station. According to a recent report, 10 coaches of the Hazara Express bound for Havelian derailed near Sahara Railway Station in Nawab shah district of Sindh, 275 km from Karachi, as a result of which more than 80 passengers were injured and some are still trapped in the coaches.
Initial Report
According to the initial report of Radio Pakistan, according to initial reports, at least 15 people were killed and 40 injured in this horrific accident. But according to the data received so far, 34 passengers have died in the accident, including 16 in Sirhari and 18 in PMC Nawab Shah. How many Bogies Are Derailed
Syal said that he is currently on his way to the site of the incident. He further said that the accident took place at the outer signal of Sirhari railway station. He said that there is no confirmation yet because some are saying that five Bogies have derailed, some say that at least 10 bogies have derailed, and others are reporting that ten bogies have derailed.
Horrible Accident
While Deputy Inspector General of Police Shaheed Benazir Abad Muhammad Yunus Chandio said that this is a horrible accident. However, he refrained from telling the number of casualties. He further said that the rescue teams have arrived and they are busy giving medical aid to the injured. Most of the injured are being shifted to the hospital by the rescue personnel while one train of Pakistan Railways is about to reach the accident site for relief and another train to clear the track.
Both Tracks Affected
He further said that both the up and down tracks have been affected in the accident. While Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon while talking to Dawn.com said that the necessary machinery has reached the scene to help in the rescue operations. Provincial Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that he is saddened by the loss of life in the accident. He directed Deputy Commissioner Nawab Shah to help the injured immediately.
Official Media Report
According to the official media, Pakistan Rangers and Pakistan Army have started relief activities while additional personnel have also been called from Skarund and Hyderabad. A special order for rescue was given by the army chief, according to the official media. Rangers and Pakistan Army teams have reached the accident scene. According to official sources, army aviation helicopters are participating in the relief activities. And the army personnel have also reached the accident site with food and drink items. It was further informed that the rescue operation of the Pakistan Army will continue until the last injured person and the last person trapped in the train are removed.
The Rescue Process should be Accelerated
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the rescue process should be accelerated and the passengers trapped under the bogies should be taken out. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, taking notice of the incident, asked the relevant authorities to start investigating the accident. He told the Provincial government of Sindh to take care of the treatment of the injured. He also asked his political party to participate in the relief process.
Movement of Trains
