Nawaz Sharif likely to return to Pakistan next month

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has officially declared his intention to return to Pakistan in October of this year. This momentous announcement took place during a meeting with his party members and staunch supporters at Stanhope House. Among those present at the gathering were his brother, former PM Shehbaz Sharif, and other prominent PML-N leaders, including Chaudhary Tanveer, Danyal Chaudhary, Chaudhary Nadeem Khan, Dr. Anjum, and more.

Sources familiar with this meeting have confirmed that Nawaz Sharif’s journey back to Pakistan is indeed planned for the coming month, although the exact date has yet to be finalized.

The Countdown Begins

Approximately three weeks ago, Nawaz Sharif had been contemplating a return to Pakistan in mid-October. These insider sources have also hinted that he is likely to arrive during the “second half of October.”

Two weeks before this official announcement, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had already confirmed his older brother’s plans to return in October. He emphasized that Nawaz would lead the election campaign upon his return and would also face the legal procedures in the country.

Nawaz Sharif’s decision to return to Pakistan in October marks a significant development in the nation’s political landscape.
