Five asteroids will come quite near to Earth

Five Asteroids will pass close to earth. The American space agency NASA has informed that five asteroids will pass close to the Earth from September 8 to September 12. All four asteroids pose no threat to Earth. According to NASA’s Asteroid Monitoring Dashboard, two asteroids will pass close to Earth on September 8. Among them, QC5 is about 79 feet (the size of a ship) while GE is about 26 feet (the size of a bus).

will pass at a distance of about 4.1

Asteroid QC 5 (which was first observed this year) will pass at a distance of about 4.1 million kilometers, while asteroid GE (which was first observed in 2020) will pass by at a distance of 5.6 million kilometers from Earth. Another ship-sized asteroid, QF6 (discovered earlier this year), is about 68 feet in size and will pass by Earth on September 10. This asteroid will pass the closest to the earth i.e., only 2.5 million kilometers.

Bus-sized asteroid RT2

The fourth and final bus-sized asteroid RT2 will pass close to Earth on September 12. This asteroid will pass at a distance of 4.1 lakh km from the Earth. Earlier on September 6, an asteroid named JA5 (which was discovered in 2021) passed at a distance of 4.9 lakh km from the Earth.

Space research organization

NASA, which is a space research organization, has said that the asteroids were discovered in the same year. One of these asteroids will pass at a distance of 4.1 million kilometers from the Earth. But this asteroid will not cause any harm to the Earth. The fourth and last asteroid RT2, which is the size of a bus, will pass close to the Earth on September 12.

Distance of about 4.1 million km

NASA has further stated that these four planets will pass close to the Earth, but it will not cause any harm to the Earth. The QC5 planet will pass at a distance of about 4.1 million km, while the GE planet will pass at a distance of 5.6 million km from the Earth.
