Princess Diana sweater, featuring a black sheep between rows of white sheep, sold for $1.14 million at an auction by Sotheby’s in New York. Bidding began on August 31, and the top bid was less than $200,000 by the last minute of the auction. Sotheby’s estimated the value of the sweater at $50,000 to $80,000. The sweater was discovered in a building room in March. It cost more than many other items associated with Princess Diana that have sold at auction in recent years.
